7) Getting Intimate: 

We solicit contractors to bid on your project.  We take you through the process.  Experience vetting GCs is the only way to vett well- and we have a lot of experience.  We carefully review and document the bids and contracts to make sure they aren’t sticking you for unnecessary services or neglecting to include items that could lead to nasty change orders later. If we find a good GC and his numbers jibe with our expectations we sign a contract to build your job.
