Trade Show Planner and the Architect:
The monster here was a second-owner 1941 era home. Never updated except to rip off the stone exterior and replace it with vinyl and sexy aluminum columns. The house worked as a modern family house- about as well as a Yugo works for reliable transport.
The kitchen was expanded to act as the social hub. A foyer, closets, master baths, and powder rooms were added. Baths were renovated. In a recurring theme in our work- this was all done with the family inhabiting the space through construction.
Who is this crazy family? My sincerest apologies to my courageous wife- this is my abode.
